After you signed up for a free PayPal account, you can automatically use the secure online payment system even if you are an unverified or a verified PayPal user.
Initially during the sign-up process --- You can verify your PayPal by adding/linking a credit or debit card to your account but if you still carries some hesitation with PayPal's online payment, you can temporarily skip the verification method procedure.
You must know that unverified account has limitations. The transactions on sending money has a cap limit and you can't transfer your funds to your bank.
The positive benefits of a Verified PayPal account are:
The Sending limit will be removed; Options to transfer your PayPal funds to your bank or Visa® credit/debit card; Gaining more credibility as a Verified PayPal user.
I like buying stuff online and sometimes I fall short of Paypal funds but you must know that another plus benefit of being a verified user is that credit/debit card will be your automatic backup funding.
The reputation of an online seller and buyer will boost up because of Paypal's identity check status approval and lastly, you can take advantage with PayPal's 'Seller Protection' policy.
** By the way... Some countries like the Philippines, card verification method is allowed but sadly to say Bank verification is not yet available for PayPal accounts. You can't also add funds to your Paypal account using your local bank account unless if you got a US bank account.
Again, remember that an unverified account has limitations.
Join PayPal account now! More details about the verification process in my next post.
